Dear EPAP Families,

Hopefully you have received an email from an Aqua Posse coach with a recommendation for either summer league or long course for your child(ren).  For those families with children continuing to Long Course, please commit to this event.  

There are a few changes for Long Course.  Because the team practices 5 - 6 times a week and the pool rental for Ascarate is more expensive, the dues are increased.  Dues will be $90 a month for 4 months, April, May, June and July for swimmers 12 & under;  dues are $100 a month for 4 months for swimmers 13 & over per child.  Family maximum rate of $240 a month applies.  The first month's dues will be charged March 31/April 1.  All accounts must be paid in full for a family to resume practice in Long Course.  

Aqua Posse is hosting our meet July 13 - 15 and your volunteer commitment is essential.  Each family must volunteer at least 3 sessions at the meet or will be charged $50 per session.  There will be a Border Championship meet at the end of July and Aqua Posse will be assigned sessions to run.  EPAP families made the February Border Championship meets possible.  To everyone who volunteered during sessions assigned to other teams - thank you - your contributions were essential.  With you, the meet could start and ran smoothly .  EPAP is still receiving thanks and appreciation for your hard work, positive attitudes and generosity from February.

Practice will resume Monday, March 26th at Armijo, Leo (LCMP) and SAC.  Coach Jeff will email about the SAC practice times,  Coach LeAnn will email about the Armijo and Leo practice times and schedules.

The Long Course meet schedule has not been set yet, but Midland is hosting their meet this summer!  

The Midland meet was tremendous fun for the swimmers and families.  Midland hosted fun events for the swimmers - a movie and dinner, a cookout and dance at the Civic Center - and the parents were able to have dinner out while the kids enjoyed the hospitality of the Midland swim team.  More information will be forthcoming when our generous host team provides it.
